TRULY MEMORABLE!!

This time I want to dedicate this blog to a friend,a mentor and a guide
IT all started with a phone call...(a phone call can change ur life!!)
So here is the story,on 8th in the afternoon I was watching TV(I stick to my time table no matter what!!)at around 12 in the noon when a friend of mine(BINGO!!above mentioned) called and said in the similar tone of brand ad's..
ME:HELLO!!
SHE:AN OPPORTUNITY IS KNOCKING UR DOOR!!
ME:sorry baby i am straight!!n thanks for d offer!!
SHE:what ##@@!! i didn't get u??
ME:(fingers crossed that she would just not ask me to explain) nothing gal..wassup?
SHE:i got placed in an mnc!!
ME:OOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOW PARTY
SHE:yeah n if u want i will refer u!
BLANK!!!!!Y?
ME:thats so sweet of u but I am not in that bad situation yaar ki US ppl will not let me in(shit!!y cud'nt i keep my mouth shut)
SHE:what?
ME:nothing gal!!yeah tell
SHE:there is NO contract or so!!are u interested!!
Hmm lemme think...MONEY,NO CONTRACT,PARENTS HAPPY,CERTIFICATE,MONEY(firstly i wanna buy a video ipod!!)....wait i am forgetting something...
SHE:HELLO PRERII U THERE HELLLLLOOOOOOOO
ME: OF COURSE I AM!!I DO

ME:sorry i am ready...but is it k if i and aru come coz i dnt want to leave her!!(my sweety pie 4m past 4 years!!)
SHE:k then i will forward u the mail n u go for HR round today by 4..is it k with u?
ME:of course what is the time?
SHE:12:30
ME:hmm...k





FAST FORWARD

I called up aru,we started as usual aru was late(come on people make mistakes n aru also did!!)(I am so polite because u will know....at d end!!) we reached exactly at 4!!
WENT THERE...SAT FOR HR
first shock...the fellow who was showing the direction for d office turned out to be the HR!!WE dsat rather reluctantly..
THE CONVERSATION
HR:hEllO YOUNG ladies my name is arumugam!!yourselfs plz
i was staring at him aru was staring at me
me:hello sir i am prerna
silence.....
ARUMUGAM:yourself
ME:errrrrrrrrrrr...aru itz u he is asking
aru:i am aruna sir
ARUMUGAM:SO UR SISTERS
me n aru:ha ha ha...(v where shaking our heading)(casual question)
NOPE!!HE WAS STARING AT US
after like 5 mins aru cracked the code and said
ARU:NO SIR WE ARE NOT SISTERS
ooooooooooooo god!!!is he mental!!!
HE WAS STILL STARING
this time i took the opportunity
ME:SIR,we are friends from same college ie classmates
ARUMUGAM:I GUESSED IT
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???
ARUMUGAM:so tell me about urselfs
hmmmmm
Me: n ARU:blah blah blah blah....
ARUMUGAM:u are good but do u have communication skills like me!!

actually i was soooo busy in being shock n in suppressing my grin that i cud'nt answer
so aru did..she said yes sir u cant compare us with U(YUK)!!

AFTER 10 mins of brain wash...(i am very blank cant remember a word after that communication skills topic!!) he told us that v are very lucky to be here n from now our life are changed!!and he told that the job is MARKETING(hmm...thats something good!!marketing so this is not an IT company!!...where r v??what r v doing!!)
ARUMUGAM:SECOND BIG SHOCK:we teach u everything that a MBA course for 1 year offers that too in just 3 months...(not yet over baby)...FREE OF COST!there in colleges its all theory here we will go into real world n do practically!!

that was the last straw i dnt remember anything after that when did v got up,when did v actually sit in auto....BLANK...

10 feb
morning 8 o clock got a call
ME:hello
SHE:hello mam u got placed in our fantastic company plzz come n join!!
ME:when mam?
SHE:IN half an hour thank u
me:WHAT????????????????????

ME N ARU are the most brave gals in Hyderabad,even after yesterdays episode we went to c whats going on...

after waiting for 1/2 an our a bunch of people came n asked if we were placed...we said yes n next moment we were on road walking!!y??i dont know!!so we asked a gal ME:where are we going?
SHE:marketing
ME:means
SHE:how did u get placed??marketing means we need to go to NGO n convince them to take credit cards!!
ME n ARU:whatttttttt???
SHE:ur my junior...now now dnt worry i will not rag u he he he

WE WALKED WITH THEM FOR 2 KM then we came into our senses(actually aru did she grabed me)without informing anybody we got into an auto!!!

it took whole 2 hours for me to recover till then we were standing in the bus stop of ram nagar!!god knows how we reached there n i started laughing!!!.. aru was sure that i went mad....I was muttering only 2 words "SALES GIRL"!!

NOW IT HAS BECOME A FUNNY INCIDENT IN MY LIFE BUT IN THAT SITUATION IT WAS HORRIBLE!!

But one thing I came to know about life,I am very lucky and thankful to have parents to take care of me no matter what I do!!In real world itz very tough to survive(2 kms of walking for 1 sign!!)

PS:"thanks you".... for the gal i mentioned in the first line!!the whole incident was such a pain!!(ahem..ahem)but the important thing is i learnt something from those 2 days!!
